Special School Day on Friday September 27th

Saturday and Sunday, battle re-enactment each day. Come early and spend the day learning about 18th century life in Kentucky. See a Living History Event including militia and settlers camps, Native American Village, merchants, traders, food, and more. Visit the Museum and 18th century Transylvania Store.

Each year as part of the Fort’s Re-Enactor Appreciation program, re-enactors attending events at Fort Boonesborough get their name put in the hat. At the end of the season a drawing is held and prizes donated throughout the year are awarded to the winners. This years grand prize of an 18th century style flintlock will be awarded at the September Siege of Boonesborough and winner will need to be present to win.

So register today to attend this event. And don’t forget re-enactors attending on school day get an extra chance to win.
